Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly important in shaping business strategies and operations in today’s rapidly changing business world. In a recent AIMS International internal webinar, AI specialist Cesar Bravo shared his valuable insights on this topic. 

Bravo is a Master Inventor, university professor, Certified PM, Agile Consultant, and TEDx speaker. He is currently the leader of the Patent Innovation Board at Kyndryl, and his expertise in areas such as Cybersecurity, Autonomous vehicles, Augmented reality, Mixed Reality, and the Metaverse provided us with invaluable insights into the future of AI.

The insightful webinar shed light on the transformative power of AI in business, and his perspectives offered a roadmap for businesses looking to navigate the complex landscape of AI integration. 

AI: The Key to Unlocking Potential

Bravo’s core message revolved around leveraging AI as an essential tool for business development. While AI adoption can be challenging, the benefits it brings to the table are manifold. 

AI’s potential knows no bounds, from optimizing operations to foreseeing market trends. Echoing the sentiments of Bravo, AI is not just a tool, but a driving force for business transformation.

The AI and Human Interaction

One of the key points Bravo highlighted was the relationship between AI and human interaction. He explained how AI can complement and enhance human capabilities rather than replace them. 

The synergy between AI and human interaction is fascinating. AI helps us make informed decisions while we provide the necessary context and direction.

The Importance of Verification

Bravo also stressed the importance of verifying AI-generated responses. While AI can provide quick answers, it’s crucial to cross-verify the information using additional sources. This step ensures the accuracy of the information, validating the AI’s response and reinforcing confidence in the system.

“Something that the AI will never be able to do is review their own work,” Bravo said. “There needs to be a human person that reviews and makes sure that the output is actually correct.”

The Road Ahead

As we move forward, the integration of AI into business processes will continue to grow. Businesses that embrace AI will likely find themselves at a competitive advantage, able to innovate faster and respond more effectively to changes in the market. 

“But the most important thing to keep in mind is that Gen AI will never replace you. Your experience, expertise, and years of work are invaluable and cannot be replaced,” Bravo said.  Even your intuition and senses are important in business. 

“I have worked with large clients in Europe and the US, and difference between a successful implementation and a failure is like night and day. Each implementation needs to be tailor-made for the customer and unique to their business and market,” Bravo explained. “We are talking about different laws, different regulations, different markets, different clients, so the implementation will be completely different.”

Embracing the Future

The future of AI in business is promising, and as Cecilia Diaz, AIMS International’s  Executive VP America’s succinctly put it, “The tip of the iceberg is more incoming, and we will really be eager to have more conversations.” 

It’s clear that we’re on the cusp of an AI revolution, and businesses that can harness its power will be the ones leading the charge.
