A DOUBLE FOCUS TO BETTER SERVE OUR CLIENTS
AIMS International is organised both geographically and by industry or area of practice.
Firstly, the various country organisations are grouped into geographic regions and sub-regions. The AMERICAS contain the two sub-regions of North America and Latin-America (LATAM); the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region includes countries along the West Pacific coastline; while the Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) region consists of the sub-regions Eastern Europe, Western Europe and Middle East-Africa. This regional organisation facilitates cross-border cooperation and the pooling of resources and competencies, whether in executive search and HR consulting or talent management projects. The arrangement also allows for better response to client needs, especially with new entrants into a particular region.
Naturally, each country continues to have its own specific language and cultural concerns, legislative considerations and market conditions. Each local AIMS country organisation was born in the country in which it operates; local establishments have often been present in the market for decades and can thus serve their resident clients while guiding their international associates.
In the second instance, AIMS International has nine global Practices organised by industry or area of competence. The seven industry practices include Automotive & Mobility ; Financial & Professional Services; Consumer; Life Sciences; Energy & Natural Resources; Industrial; and Media & Technology. At the same time there are two practices dedicated to areas of competence, namely Board Services and Talent Management. These global teams of consultants are experienced in their respective industries, and collaborate in the best interest of our clients while supporting the AIMS country organisations with their expertise.
This multiple approach – global, regional, local and by competence – is AIMS International’s innovative response to a changing world. Country boundaries often remain deceptively strong, purely through inertia; however, AIMS International recognises that national borders are no longer the sole defining factor in effective business operations.
