Born in Athens, I lived in Greece for the first 24 years of my life that included Highschool and University (Degree in Civil Engineering from the NTUA). I continued my studies in the US, (University of Michigan – Ann Arbor – MSc in Industrial & Operations engineering), thanks to a full scholarship by Rotary International.
Procter& Gamble hired me as Management Trainee for the company’s Canadian Operations and processed my immigration into Canada, where I started my professional career. In the next six years, I held important management and consulting positions in the Canadian Market and adopted fully the North American work culture and work ethic of the time, that influenced my professional life ever since.
In Canada, I also became familiar with the Executive Search profession, as I had been “headhunted” a number of times myself during that period. Although this profession was completely irrelevant in regard to my academic background, right from the very beginning I decided that that was the job I wanted to do, and never changed my mind on that ever since. So, as soon as the opportunity arose, after repatriating to Greece and working for seven years as Planning & Information Director for TITAN CEMENT and CEO for Infoplan, I started my own company, PRIAMOS S.A., offering executive search services in the Greek Market.
A significant development came in 1999 when AIMS was looking for a local partner in Greece, and our company was selected. I have been the Managing Partner of the company ever since and live in Athens with my wife and my only daughter – notably with a different passion: horses – she is a horse-vet.
On the professional side, I always have the strong motivation to change people’s and companies’ lives for the better, with high-quality executive search placements, sustainable in the long run. I am adamant about operating in this role in a way that fully safeguards the interests of our client companies, of our proposed candidates and of our own consultants.
