AIMS International , global executive search and talent management organisation gathered in Marrakech last week for our annual general meeting and to celebrate the launch of the new FIND&GROW website.

Over 70 partners from 50 different countries enjoyed the warm Moroccan hospitality of our hosts, Karim Ahniche, Managing Partner from AIMS Morocco and his team. The meeting was held at the Radisson Blu Hotel where all participants were invited to discuss future growth strategies. We focused on methodologies to deliver the best service possible to our clients within a rapidly changing industry while promoting cooperation between all Partners and Consultants. Panel discussions opened the floor for members to debate on the best tools to take AIMS’ global culture further and the best practices for sharing cross border business. Global practice group workshops and new partners presentation were held, and case studies from all over the world were shared.

Juan Crespin, Managing Partner AIMS Argentina shared his expertise on developing a practical sales culture and also treated us to a most enjoyable team building exercise featuring soft-landing an egg!

The effervescent Uschi Nocchieri made us all laugh with her energetic reminder to take care of the most important person in your life and shared her practical tips and tricks for a happy office environment.

Bucket list treats for delegates included a ride in a traditional horse drawn cart through the city called El Kouchi, a walk through the Medina’s narrow streets, dinner, music and belly dancing at a traditional moroccan restaurant “Dar Zellij” inside Marrakech’s old Medina.  The Fantasia show literally blew delegates away and held them spell bound with the Bedouins’ horsemanship and military skills, camel rides, traditional Moroccan cuisine and dancing until 2pm in the desert inside La Palmeraie.

The lucky few who could stay until Sunday went to the Selman Palace to fall in love with the splendiferous Arabian horses and more excellent local food.  Beautiful landscapes, friendly warm people, bargaining at the Souk Jamaa El Fna, sharing expertise, having fun with old and new friends, glorious food, magnificent horses…

Our visit to Marrakech will never be forgotten.
