Gert Andersen

While originating from rural Denmark, it soon became apparent that Biology and Health Care were central to Gert's interest. He moved to the capital, facing the city's bright lights, and graduated from the University of Copenhagen with an MSc in Biochemistry and a diploma in Managerial Economics.

Married and joined a family of Health Care professionals, where health care issues and policy are recurrent topics around the dining table. The inspiration from the family was probably the key driver for Gert to pursue a career in the Global Biopharmaceutical Industry rather than a Scientific Research role.

During Gert's career, primarily at Bristol-Myers Squibb, he held Commercial and Medical roles at Local, Regional, and Global Levels of increasing seniority, including General Management and Global Franchise Leadership roles.
