Sherif Nessim
Sherif Nessim is the Founder & Managing Partner of Jedar Capital. He is focused on investing in emerging and frontier markets, mainly in MEAP region: Middle East, Africa and Pakistan, where he spent the past 24 years working within the telecom and technology sector.
Prior to moving to USA, Sherif was based in Egypt serving as Operations/Commercial Director at ArpuPlus, the largest mobile value-added service provider in the region, it is part of Orascom Telecom, a mobile carrier holding company focused on Middle East and Africa. He was involved in several impact projects using mobile technologies in payments, data access and ensuring inclusion of un-banked and un-served population in emerging markets.
He moved to New York in 2020 where he founded Jedar Capital to be the bridge between investors in USA and Europe and startups in Africa & Middle East. Sherif holds an undergraduate degree in Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering from Cairo University and post graduate diploma in Finance and Investment Portfolio Management

Sylvain cumulates 25 years of experience in the Logistics and Supply Chain industry mostly in Middle East & Africa and a 16 years career in Agility Group at global level as SVP Global Strategic Programs and at regional level as CO MEA and CEO Africa.
Sylvain has directly handled logistics operations in Poland, Switzerland, Kuwait, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Sudan Kenya, Uganda, Angola and Mozambique. He has led expansion programs in Africa through M&A, Joint Ventures and green field operations as well as managed restructure and turnaround plans globally, regionally and in country.

Nathalie Beatrice CHINJE-N BODIONG, PhD
Dr Chinje – N Bodiong is the Lead Advisor to the Secretary General of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, a position she has held since 1 June 2019. She joined the Office of the Secretary General from the Bank’s Southern African Regional Hub where she had been working as an International Consultant in the office of the Director General for the Region, delivering on these primary responsibilities: business development, stakeholders’ relationship building and management (including private and public entities) as well as resource management. She was also the focal point for the Africa Investment Forum (AIF) in Southern Africa. She joined the African Development Bank (AfDB) in August 2016 as an International Technical Consultant on private sector development in Africa. For 2 years, she consulted to the Fund for African Private Sector Assistance (FAPA) – a multi-donor fund consisting of the following donors: The Government of Japan, Government of Austria, and AfDB. She provided advice, guidance and support that led to the approval & funding of key gender and women-led as well as SME initiatives in the Bank such as the Fashionomics Digital Platform and the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Lab.
