Yee Zer is based in Malaysia and has been working in one of the largest global semiconductor company for last twenty-one years in Penang.

Prior to joining AIMS International, Yee Zer was Chief of Staff of a Fortune500 company (one of the world’s leading semiconductor company ) in Malaysia.  His prior experience includes overseeing Global IT Service Desks, Country Staffing Operations, Talent Management and Talent Pipeline (Skills Planning, Multi-skilled Pivotal Talentship, Single-Point of Failures) and chairing Advanced Node Semiconductor Design Projects (including owning organization health & budgets, ensuring predictable pipeline planning). 

Yee Zer has been trained and entrusted by the company as the Asia Subject Matter Expert for end-to-end Talent Planning Management.

Yee Zer holds an MSc (IT Infrastructure) degree from the University of Science Malaysia. He is a trained Professional Scrum Master and Certified Training Professional. He is fluent in English, Malay & Chinese (spoken) language.

Since my early days, I became interested in technology and as a result, just after my graduation, I joined the Malaysia operation of one of the largest semiconductors MNCs in the world.

My Talent Management journey began when I was tasked to pioneer the Staffing Account Management Structure in the company and then progressed to become the Asia Subject Matter Expert for the end-to-end Talent Management in the company’s global network. In the last few years, I became the Chief of Staff: Custom-Logic ASIC Group in the Office of the Global CTO.
