In a world of increasing social and environmental challenges, the idea of sustainability is becoming more and more important to all of us.

My wife, our grown-up son and I try to incorporate this idea into our practical lives, whether it be being aware of the goods we buy and where and how they were produced, or the vegetables we grow in our own beautiful large garden on the Lower Rhine near the Dutch border. It is not always easy, but it is definitely worth it.

Throughout my career I have always practised openness, honesty and authenticity. My experience shows that this approach is (almost) always appreciated and forms the basis for a trusting relationship with partners and customers in business. The culture and values of AIMS stand for this approach and I am happy to be part of this team and feel this spirit.
