Klaus is working in management consulting for energy utilities, municipal utilities and local authorities for more than 25 years, he is the author of numerous publications in energy and municipal economics and is a sought-after speaker at specialist conferences. Since 2015, he is Vice President of the German Association of Management Consultants (BDU) e. V.

He was a partner Energy & Utilities at Baker Tilly, Düsseldorf; shareholder and member of the management board at BET Büro für Energiewirtschaft und technische Planung GmbH, Aachen, president of the board of directors BET Suisse AG, CH, and partner at smm managementberatung GmbH, Düsseldorf.

He began his career as a management consultant with Dr. Wieselhuber & Partner GmbH, Düsseldorf / Munich.

As an independent senior advisor, Klaus supports utilities, municipalities and start-ups. He is an industry insider and has a strong understanding of the processes and structures of energy utilities and municipal utilities in the GSA region. He is very familiar with the decision-making structures of the municipal sector.

Born and raised in the Ruhr area, I now live in Königswinter at the Rhine.
