50 Countries get together online to discuss the future of talent management post covid-19

After more than two decades of physical Annual General Assemblies, where AIMS Partners and Consultants from across the world would gather in a different country each year, travel bans caused by covid-19 have challenged the organisation to do things differently. From 12 to 16 October 2020, Consultants will focus on sharing expertise, business development ideas and getting to know new Partners. Virtual breakaway rooms will ensure robust debates during organised workshops discussing strategic client objectives and adapting to changing markets.
The AIMS leadership team understands that the way we do business has fundamentally changed. Sustainability is no longer just an option but a competitive necessity. The Sustainability project team will continue to embed strategic sustainability objectives into the core operations and processes of this global organisation.
While meeting virtually does result in the loss of physical interaction, the AIMS family remains in high spirits about new possibilities brought about by having more online meetings; more Consultants and support staff members are able to participate virtually and the organisers are ensuring an element of entertainment with themed coffee- and happy hour breaks in between workshops, games and new partner presentations as well as catching up on old friendships. Another plus is the substantial improvement in the carbon footprint of an organisation spread across the globe. One thing is sure; collaboration has no borders in AIMS International. With the investment of an excellent digital infrastructure built over the last few years, it is business as usual for AIMS.
