Growing our young leaders

At AIMS International, we promote continued learning, not only with our clients but also our own internal talent. We continuously strive to stay on the cutting edge of global candidate sourcing and leadership development practices. Exposing our Consultants to new ideas and developing curiosity and a penchant for continues learning, in turn creates real value for our clients.

During October 18 and 19, AIMS Germany hosted the coming together of eager, knowledge-hungry Consultants in Düsseldorf. Seventeen participants from seven countries gathered to share their challenges, opportunities and, together, perfect international best practice in research methodology. It was a good opportunity to exchange thoughts about cultural differences in our various countries, learn more about candidate psychology and discover new useful tools for everyday interactions with business leaders.

Our coach, Sarah H. Gordon from Recruitment Matters International, provided us with insightful thoughts and very useful tips. She encouraged all delegates to participate actively during the workshop, avoiding “death by powerpoint”, but instead creating real network building between the participants in a friendly and collaborative spirit.

On the second day, we were joined by Peter Barkhurst, VP Western Europe & Managing Director AIMS International Germany and Pierangelo Favero, President AIMS International & Managing Partner AIMS International Italy.  Afterwards, we all gathered in a traditional brewery in Düsseldorf to enjoy typical German food and beer before heading home to our various countries to put our learnings into practice.
