October 20th, 2014 – Vienna, Austria – The AIMS International EMEA Regional Meeting 2014 was hosted by Sofia/Bulgaria 2nd – 5th of October.
The Meeting, held in The Hilton Hotel, was attended by over 40 AIMS International representatives from the Europe, Middle East and Africa region who succeeded in taking another confident step in strengthening the foundations of the partnership.
The majority of the meeting focused on the Strategy Vision 2017 and its implementation in the EMEA region, setting the clients’ needs further into the focus. The new leaders of all Global Teams, Mr. Peter Barkhurst (Germany / VP CN EMEA) and Mr. Gregoíre Depeursinge (Switzerland / VP CW EMEA), led best practice workshops and shared success stories with the EMEA colleagues, which demonstrated again the value of the global teams, e.g. for individual search projects as well as for multinational assignments on the executive level. AIMS International local partners in Canada, Denmark and Italy presented details to their services which show how they have reached their position as local top level providers in their countries.
A special researcher training, which is regularly held during every regional meeting and thus ensures that all researchers globally have the same basis competencies which are needed to implement the executive search processes on a worldwide scale, was run in parallel.
In the evening of October 2nd the traditional local Client Event took place. This time its uniqueness was due to its combination with the celebration of the 20th Anniversary of AIMS International in Bulgaria and offered a pleasant and memorable evening to both AIMS International Partners and the representatives of the local top management. More than 160 people congratulated personally the company, Ms. Maria Shishkova, Managing Partner, and Ms. Stela Ouzounova, Executive Director, on reaching 20 years in offering high quality services and assisting the top companies, both local as well as international, in their business quests in Bulgaria.
All the guests took with them two special gifts – at first the impression that one of the most important factors in order to be successful in Bulgaria is to create a meaningful relationship with your clients and partners, and secondly a special little text book, designed and edited by the local entity/local Partner, which gathered the thoughts and insights of the Today’s Wise Leaders in Bulgaria.
The next EMEA meeting will take place in Italy in the spring of 2015.
