Born in Chelsea / Massachusetts (USA), grown up in Southern Germany, I had a lot of opportunities to work on international base throughout my entire career with some focus on Europe as well as several activities in Asia and the Americas.
Today, I truly feel as a European citizen, with great passion for intercultural exchange and collaboration. Living in Kissing / Bavaria, a friendly and peaceful town close to the cities of Augsburg and Munich is a luxury. We enjoy good weather, many chances for leisure-activities as lakes and mountains are near-by.
I am lucky to be married to my wife Ingrid for 35 years with three grown-up children and two wonderful grandchildren. My passions are people, my family and sports. My passion has a wide range starting with team sports, intercultural activities in my business and private life and of course my family plays a big part. Biking over the Alps, playing a round of golf with my wife, skiing with our family or hiking with some friends - outdoor activities play a main role in my life.
I went through some changes in my professional life; during my first career in Air Force, I worked with different European nationalities and even had the chance to work with Generals from the Middle East. Then as a HR Manager, I was part of company acquisitions and sales, as well as leading international projects in Europe. Later in this career, I collaborated with AIMS as a client in China and Luxembourg, where my dear colleague, Daniel Reinert, recommended me for AIMS Germany in 2007.
HR Consultancy and Executive Search is my third fabulous career, which I enjoy while consulting individuals, companies and teams. Continuously working in an international environment for 37 years, I like teaming up with AIMS partners, even discovering additional countries.
Integrating my acumen in this truly global organization as a manager and consultant is fun, energizing and demanding. Today I embrace different roles nationally and globally in AIMS INTERNATIONAL, it has been a good choice!
